Gosh! two really beautiful days.
Sunny, relatively warm and no wind to speak of.
The snow above 2,000m is really fabulous, although the lower slopes are really quite hard.
The lift company are finally running the cannons again though, so we might get rid of the worst of it.
There was a huge cornice over the top of the off piste section of the Cours (Hidden Valley), which they got rid of by using a large machine. Some of these blocks of snow are huge, and unfortunately it’s affected the slope that one normally skis on to do this off piste descent – however that was obviously the point.
I didn’t take any pictures today, but it’s been fabulous.
