3rd & 4th January

Gosh! two really beautiful days. :) Sunny, relatively warm and no wind to speak of. :)

The snow above 2,000m is really fabulous, although the lower slopes are really quite hard. :( The lift company are finally running the cannons again though, so we might get rid of the worst of it. :) There was a huge cornice over the top of the off piste section of the Cours (Hidden Valley), which they got rid of by using a large machine. Some of these blocks of snow are huge, and unfortunately it’s affected the slope that one normally skis on to do this off piste descent – however that was obviously the point.

I didn’t take any pictures today, but it’s been fabulous. :)
